Surkhandarya region’s hokim Tura Bobolov received specialists from management4health GmbH Consulting Company, who arrived in Termez to study the technical-economic base of the project for modernizing medical education and improving the skills of local specialists.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the organization of training courses and a simulation center for secondary medical workers in Termez, where Uzbekistan citizens and neighboring countries, in particular Afghanistan, will be able to receive medical education and improve their skills.

The consulting company is planning to set up a training and retraining center for secondary medical professionals in this city.

Experts from Germany will study the region's needs for training and retraining of mid-level medical professionals, construction and reconstruction of new buildings for training center and dormitories, as well as the possibility of training Afghan medical workers and students.
