The Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). It was attended by First Deputy Minister Usman Sharifkhodjayev, Head of GIZ Matthias Klingenberg and responsible persons of interested organizations.

At the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation within the framework of the project “Support for reform and modernization processes in the vocational education system of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with this memorandum, it is planned to conduct joint research work on vocational training of youth. It also provides for the study of foreign experience and the organization of training events. The parties agreed to work together in the information technology.

It should be noted that the project to support the process of reforms and modernization of the vocational education system of Uzbekistan for 2021-2025 is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development.
