Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Ilkhom Norkulov met with the Director of the KfW Development Bank for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia Veronica Garcia del Arco.

The parties discussed the current and future projects, support for strategic partnership and budgetary policy within the framework of financial cooperation.

Ms. Veronica Garcia del Arco expressed her sincere gratitude to the Government of Uzbekistan for the constant support of the KfW’s activities.

Deputy Minister Ilkhom Norkulov informed the guests about the energy sector of Uzbekistan, the social system, the transformation process at state-owned enterprises and ongoing reforms in the green economy.

The parties agreed to continue cooperation on the discussed issues and expand the scope of mutually beneficial projects.
