A meeting was held at the National University of Uzbekistan with a group of French scientists dedicated to coordinating work on training personnel in bioinformatics and mathematics.

The participants of the meeting – the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Professor Inom Majidov, and the Head of the Department for Higher Education, Science and Innovation Yakub Ergashev exchanged views with representatives of the universities of Poitiers, Le Havre, Lyon, and Rennes of France on the establishment of the Uzbekistan – France University and other areas of cooperation.

At the same time, proposals were put forward regarding specialties, curricula and programs, qualification requirements introduced at the newly created university, and their combination with the educational standards and directions adopted in Uzbekistan.
