The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov has met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbayev, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the ministerial meeting “Italy – Central Asia”.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the current issues of relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the political-diplomatic, border, trade-economic, energy and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The progress in the implementation of the previously reached agreements and the schedule of the upcoming events at various levels were considered.

Views were exchanged on the international and regional situation, including the current situation in Afghanistan.
