On May 19-22 this year, Tajikistan will host Uzbek Cinema Days. Delegation of Uzbekistan filmmakers arrived in the city of Dushanbe to attend the event.
The group includes People’s Artists of Uzbekistan Khayrulla Sadiyev, Tesha Muminov, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Tokhir Saidov, Honored Culture Worker of Uzbekistan Jakhongir Akhmedov and other famous representatives of the sphere.
According to Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency, the films “Ilkhak”, “Colorless Dreams”, “Heart of the People”, “Duty”, as well as the films “The Revolt of the Daughters-in-Law” and “The Mysterious Chest” will be presented during the Cinema Days.
The opening ceremony of the Uzbek Cinema Days will take place today at the Navruz Palace of Arts in Dushanbe. The program of the forum includes meetings with Uzbekistan filmmakers, cooperation projects, trips to historical monuments and other entertainment events.
Book-albums published within the framework of a special project of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan – “Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the World Collections” will also be presented.
