The Asian Juniors and Cadets Championships have kicked off at the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent.

Uzbekistan’s fencer Marjona Usmanova overtook her Iranian and Hong Kong rivals and advanced to the final.

Two talented saber fencers – Allaniyaz Eshchanov and Islombek Abdazov competed with each other. The victory was won by Islombek Abdazov.

Our epee fencer Meyirkhan Timurov lost to Kazakhstani Bogdan Lukin.

On the first day of the competition, Uzbekistan national team won two gold and two silver medals.
