In 2021, Uzbekistan exported 82.9 thousand tons of melons and watermelons worth $22.7 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, last year Uzbekistan’s melons and watermelons were supplied to the markets of 23 countries. The volume of export compared to 2020 decreased by 22.7 thousand tons.

The top five countries that imported the most melons and watermelons from Uzbekistan included Kazakhstan (33.6 thousand tons), Russia (20.3 thousand tons), Kyrgyzstan (15.6 thousand tons), Ukraine (5.6 thousand tons), Latvia (2.9 thousand tons). Melons from Uzbekistan were also purchased by Belarus, Tajikistan and Germany.
