Uzbekistan’s export potential is expanding. The volume of fresh fruit supplies to countries worldwide is increasing, which helps strengthen long-term supply chains.

According to the Agency for Plant Quarantine and Protection under the Ministry of Agriculture, a meeting was held in Makkah between representatives of Uzbekistan and the leadership of Al Moatasem Trading Group.

Issues related to the supply of fresh fruit from Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia’s markets were discussed at the meeting. The parties exchanged views on sustainable product supply, quality improvement, and logistics optimization.

Al Moatasem Trading Group was founded in 1985 and imports fresh fruits and vegetables. The company imports products from various countries worldwide and stores, sorts, and transports them using advanced logistics technologies.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to increase the supply of fresh fruit and establish long-term cooperation.
