According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, from January to May this year, 615.7 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables worth $335.1 million were exported, which is 15 percent more compared to the same period last year.

The share of fruit and vegetable products in the total export amounted to 4 percent.

The main export markets for fruits and vegetables are Russia (29.8 percent), Kazakhstan (25.5 percent), China (11.9 percent), Pakistan (5.6 percent), Kyrgyzstan (4.4 percent), Afghanistan (4 .2 percent) and Belarus (2.6 percent).
