In January-September 2022, the volume of exports of fruit and vegetable products amounted to $760.2 million, in physical terms – 1,235.8 thousand tons.
The growth compared to the same period in 2021 amounted to 21.7 percent. The largest share in the export of fruit and vegetable products is occupied by grapes (including dried) – 21.2 percent, peaches – 9 percent, tomatoes – 5.9 percent, melons and watermelons – 4.7 percent, cherries – 4.4 percent, cabbage – 4.3 percent, onions – 3.8 percent.
In January-September 2022, the share of fruit and vegetable products in total exports amounted to 5.4 percent. The main importers of fruit and vegetable products of Uzbekistan are Russia (44.4 percent), Kazakhstan (21 percent), China (6.8 percent), Pakistan (6.4 percent), Kyrgyzstan (4.4 percent), Afghanistan (2.6 percent), Türkiye (2.3 percent), Belarus (1.9 percent), Iran (1.3 percent), Azerbaijan (1 percent).
