A delegation led by Javlon Vakhabov, Director of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA), visited Islamabad.

During the visit, Mr. Vakhabov signed agreements with the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future, the Institute of Regional Studies, and the Islamabad Institute of Strategic Studies. These documents emphasize the need to deepen academic cooperation, conduct joint research in politics and security, trade and investment, and socio-economic development, and strengthen regional ties between Central and South Asia.

The parties highlighted the importance of developing intellectual and institutional connections to ensure regional stability, promote mutual trade and investment, and address common challenges such as climate change and security issues.
