A delegation of scholars, coaches, and faculty members from the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports is currently on a working visit to South Korea.

As part of the visit, meetings were held with representatives of prestigious Korean sports organizations and educational institutions. Discussions focused on student and faculty exchanges, developing joint programs, organizing international training camps for national teams, cooperating in scientific research and innovation, and attracting investments and grants to Uzbekistan. 

“During negotiations with rectors of several South Korean universities, leaders of sports associations, and business representatives, we explored opportunities for establishing bilateral cooperation. In friendly meetings, we also discussed practical collaboration with companies specializing in the production of sports equipment in South Korea and reached relevant agreements”, Rashid Matkarimov, Rector of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports, said.
