Tashkent hosted the Uzbekistan – European international conference on “Uzbekistan – European Union: New Horizons of Partnership” organized by the Information-Analytical Center for International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by leading European experts from the German Foundation for Political Science and Politics, Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael, AESMA Center for Strategic Studies, Ghent Institute for International and European Studies.
In recent years, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Europe has shown positive dynamics, reflecting the desire of both sides to deepen mutually beneficial relations. This is evident from several factors, including cooperation in various fields.
Issues of considering the prospects for the development of partnership between Uzbekistan and the European Union in political, economic and humanitarian spheres, including determining priorities in trade, investment, transport, logistics, green energy, technology and innovation were discussed during the conference.
