Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan for International Relations, Foreign Economic Affairs, Foreign Investments and Tourism, Ravshan Alimov, has met with the Chair of the European Parliament Delegation for Central Asia and Mongolia, Fulvio Martusciello.

According to the upper house of Parliament, the parties considered the state and prospects for the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union. Views were exchanged on holding the next meeting of Uzbekistan – EU Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.

Fulvio Martusciello highly appreciated the transformations carried out in Uzbekistan and the favorable conditions created for foreign investors. He noted the great interest of European companies in the implementation of large long-term projects in Uzbekistan in priority sectors of the economy.
