Textile enterprises of “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” (Uzbekistan textile industry) Association took part in the 50th Textillegprom Federal Trade Fair of textile and light industry goods and equipment, in Moscow, Russia.

The total area of the exposition of textile, sewing and knitting industry enterprises of Uzbekistan was 490 sq.m. The exposition presented a wide range of products from yarn, fabrics, knitwear and terry cloth, to ready-made garments, terry and hosiery products.

As reported by the Press Service of “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” Association, over 20 leading manufacturers of the sector – UzTex Group, JV LLC Sanoat Gilam, LLC Quality Textile Production, LLC Namangan To’qimachi, LLC Barkas Teks, LLC Samarqand Apparel, LLC Orange Teks, LLC Elegant Garment, LLC Sof Mega Tekstil, LLC Ark Eko Tekstil, LLC Zemir Teks Invest, LLC Samarkand Euroasia Textile and other companies of Uzbekistan attended the trade fair.

Issues of cooperation in promoting the interests of domestic enterprises for participating in the fairs were discussed with the heads of JSC Roslegprom and RLP-Yarmarka. Negotiations were held with the heads of retail enterprises and representatives of purchasing departments of large retail chains.

Following the trade fair, contracts and agreements, worth more than $62 million, were signed for supplying textile products.
