A business forum featuring leading representatives from Uzbekistan’s and Egypt’s textile industries was held in Egypt’s capital.
The event brought together major cotton and textile clusters, as well as manufacturers of yarn, fabrics, and finished garments from Uzbekistan and Egypt. During the forum, participants exchanged information on export and import potential, existing demand, production standards, and logistics routes.
The forum also featured B2B meetings that helped identify mutual areas of interest. Many companies discussed opportunities to establish cooperation, supply test batches of products, create joint ventures, and enter into long-term contracts. Special attention was paid to the development of sustainable raw material supply chains, the modernization of production technologies, and the intensification of experience exchange.
Following the event, the business communities of the two countries agreed to maintain regular contacts, organize joint seminars and exhibitions throughout the year, and intensify mutual business visits. The textile forum in Cairo will be an essential step toward elevating industrial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Egypt.
