The Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov has met with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Baghdad Amreyev.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Turkic Council, exchanged views on the upcoming cultural events in Uzbekistan.

Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov expressed gratitude to the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev for his contribution to the promotion of the values ​​of the Turkic world, offered to enhance collaboration. The regulation on the establishment of the Alisher Navoi International Prize of the Turkic Council was presented. It will be awarded to figures in the arts of music, choreography, cinema, museology, library science, handicrafts, folk art and architecture.

The parties noted the potential of cooperation in cinematography, expressed their hope for assistance, support the Council in organizing a special presentation aimed at popularizing the series “I am Jaloliddin” among the Turkic countries, shot jointly with Turkish filmmakers.
