The Embassy of Uzbekistan in London has held virtual talks with the leadership of the British Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU).

MMU representatives were informed about the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in education, the priorities in training qualified personnel, the introduction of international quality standards in education, and the establishment of partnerships with foreign universities. The recent progressive dynamics of cooperation with the UK, including in the educational sphere, was noted.

Representatives of the MMU informed about the academic and scientific activities of the university, cooperation with foreign partners.

Welcoming the efforts of the government of Uzbekistan in the development of high-quality higher education, they expressed interest in the implementation of joint transnational educational projects with Uzbekistan universities in architecture and design, pedagogy, STEM education, business administration, and others.
