Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Erkin Khamrayev has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey in the areas of mutual interest.

The main attention was paid to the organizational issues of holding regular consultations on consular issues between the foreign ministries of the two countries this year.

The participants of the meeting expressed confidence that the upcoming event would make it possible to outline specific plans for further development of cooperation in this direction, including the provision of comprehensive consular legal assistance to citizens of the two countries in Uzbekistan and Turkey.
