Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov has held virtual talks with the Director General of the OIC Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT) Latifa El Bouabdellaoui, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

At the meeting, it was noted that Uzbekistan is interested in further promoting constructive cooperation with the OIC and its structures, one of which is the ICDT. In this regard, the issues of filling the interaction with practical content and implementation of new joint projects in trade, investment, transport and others were discussed.

The leadership of the OIC Trade Centre was pleased to accept the invitation to participate in international industry forums and exhibitions in Uzbekistan in 2021.

The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
