Uzbekistan delegation led by the Director of the International Institute for Central Asia Anvar Nasirov visits Dushanbe.

A meeting was held with the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Farhod Rahimi. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, educational and scientific spheres. It was emphasized that thanks to the political will of the leaders of the two countries, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the research area is actively developing. The main attention is paid to the integration of natural, humanitarian and technical sciences, primarily ecology, transport, regional processes.

The parties expressed their readiness for fruitful cooperation.
