The delegation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Vienna, which is also responsible for relations with Hungary, visited Budapest.

The delegation led by the Ambassador Abat Fayzullayev held meetings at the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade.

A meeting with the Deputy Secretary of State for Eastern Affairs András Barani was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of interstate cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields, the implementation of the agreements reached earlier, as well as measures taken by the governments of the two countries aimed at mitigating the economic consequences of global crisis phenomena associated with the pandemic.
