Uzbekistan delegation to attend the ATOMEXPO 2019 Forum

The forum will be held on April 15-16, in Sochi.
At the exhibition, leading companies of the global nuclear industry and related industries will present their innovations, new products and solutions, including those not related to energy.
Within the framework of ATOMEXPO 2019, the second award ceremony of the international prize ATOMEXPO AWARDS for contribution to development and use of atomic technologies for the benefit of people will be held. The competition for the award involves projects from 25 countries, including from Uzbekistan.
In 2018, more than 4,000 delegates and guests from 68 countries were among the participants, in 2017, there were 65 out of them and in 2016 from 55 countries. 39 agreements and other cooperation documents, including commercial agreements, have been concluded.
As reported by the Press Service of Uzatom Agency, Uzbekistan last year took part in the forum for the first time. This time the delegation will include representatives from the Ministry of Energy, the Agency for Development of Atomic Energy under the Ministry of Energy, the Academy of Sciences, and the State Committee for Industrial Safety. Meetings and negotiations to discuss further cooperation, including within the framework of the project for construction of nuclear power stations in Uzbekistan will be held.
