Uzbekistan delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Shakhlo Turdikulova took part in China Biomed Innovation and Investment Conference, in the city of Suzhou, China.

The event of the China Pharmaceutical Innovation and Research Development Association was attended by representatives of major foreign and domestic companies operating in pharmaceuticals, scientific institutions, business circles and the media.

At the plenary session, Deputy Minister Shakhlo Turdikulova informed about the reforms carried out in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology in Uzbekistan, innovative solutions, conditions and opportunities created for investors working in this area. She also called on Chinese pharmaceutical companies to invest in Uzbekistan and contribute to the development of the industry in the country.

G2B meetings were held with several Chinese pharmaceutical companies.
