Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur took part in the official opening ceremony of the Malaysian International Furniture Fair 2023.

The event is the largest exhibition in Southeast Asia, representing a wide range of furniture products, accessories and furniture equipment. Every year about 1000 companies and 15-20 thousand people from more than 20 countries of the world take part in this event.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia Fadillah bin Haji Yusof.

At the event, the Malaysian side was informed about the large-scale measures being implemented in Uzbekistan aimed at meeting the growing demand for furniture industry products in Uzbekistan, supporting the activities of furniture manufacturers in the regions of the country, expanding the production of furniture products that meet international standards and are competitive in domestic and foreign markets.
