Uzbekistan delegation participates in the Education World Forum

The delegation led by the Minister of Preschool and School Education, Hilola Umarova, is currently participating in the Education World Forum in London.

The event aims to find solutions to existing problems in education, exchange ideas, hold presentations on innovations, and demonstrate the success of a country in various areas of education.

Within the forum framework, Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova met with the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, and Minister of Education of the Republic of Sri Lanka, Susil Premajayantha.

The prospects of attracting teachers of higher education institutions of the Republic of Sri Lanka in computer science and STEAM education according to the “master-apprentice” model to the general secondary education institutions were discussed.

Negotiations were also held on several areas of cooperation with the Director of Commercial Strategy at Cambridge Partnership for Education, Kenan Barut.

Based on the experience of Presidential schools, the issues of introducing a scientifically based knowledge assessment system into the educational process, improving the qualifications of teachers, and using the Cambridge International PDQ mechanism were considered.

Issues of further cooperation were agreed upon at a meeting with the head of the Middle East and Africa at Times Higher Education, Nick Davis.
