Uzbekistan delegation participates in an international forum in Mongolia

On August 25-27, a delegation of women entrepreneurs, led by Nodira Shotursunova, Deputy Chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, participated in the World Women Entrepreneurs Forum held in Ulaanbaatar.

The prestigious event, organized at the initiative of the Mongolian government, brought together approximately 500 women entrepreneurs from 100 countries.

The forum was attended by the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, the WTO Director-General, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Zulaykho Mahkamova, representatives from Japan, the Republic of Korea, and China, as well as heads of leading international organizations.

The program included sessions dedicated to business development, financing, digital transformation, the green economy, regional cooperation, and export potential.

During bilateral meetings, women entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan reached several agreements on exchanging experiences and cooperating in the fields of pharmaceuticals, cosmetology, and agriculture.
