The delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan held several meetings with representatives of leading foreign companies and investors as part of the Web Summit Qatar-2024.

The summit was attended by over 12 thousand delegates, more than 600 prominent startups, and 500 investors. Two hundred speakers addressed the event. The summit is recognized as the most significant event of the year in Qatar. It showcases the latest trends in technology and innovation.

As part of the negotiations held by the Uzbekistan delegation, information was presented on the work carried out in Uzbekistan in ICT, including the widespread introduction of innovations in all sectors of the economy, increasing the number of innovative technologies and ideas, commercializing local developments, intensifying cooperation with scientific organizations and supporting innovation.

The meeting participants were familiarized with the conditions created for developing the human resources potential of Uzbekistan and business process outsourcing and were invited to cooperate.

Following the meetings, an agreement was reached on the visit of delegations of large Qatari IT companies and investors to Uzbekistan to familiarize with the country’s potential in this area and identify specific areas of cooperation.
