According to Uzbekistan Tourism Development Committee, within the framework of the event, brochures “10 Reasons to visit Uzbekistan”, reference books “On the procedure of crossing the state border and the rules of staying in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, presentation videos dedicated to Uzbekistan, including its rich history and original culture, architectural monuments, large-scale reforms in development of the tourism industry of the country were distributed in cooperation with the Silk Road Treasure Tours travel company.

In addition, the Consulate General has initiated a special thematic campaign “Visit Uzbekistan” in order to increase the recognition of the country among representatives of large foreign travel agencies, companies and associations.

Presentation of Uzbekistan at this event promotes the national tourism brand of the country in the United States, the dissemination of information about the rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbek people among the Western public.
