On April 30, Uzbekistan delegation led by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov took part in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, in the city of Kazan.
Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister noted that the status of an observer state allows Uzbekistan to objectively and comprehensively study the integration process in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), open up new opportunities for closer cooperation.
It was noted that over three thousand enterprises with the participation of the capital of the EAEU member states are successfully operating in Uzbekistan, joint projects are being implemented in many sectors of the economy.
The 3rd meeting of the Council for Industrial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Union was held on April 5 this year in Tashkent.
Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation, as well as a Joint Action Plan for 2021-2023 was signed between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan held bilateral meetings with the heads of EAEU member states delegations, in Kazan.
