Representatives of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the National Agency for Advanced Projects took part in the 40th plenary week of the Eurasian Group in Bishkek.
More than 200 representatives from the United States, Armenia, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, India, Iran, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, as well as experts from the United Nations, FATF, SCO, CIS, EBRD, and OSCE, participated in this international event.

Deputy Prosecutor General – Head of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, head of Uzbekistan delegation Shamsiddin Sohibnazarov, as Deputy Chairman of the Eurasian Group, drew attention to important issues in this organization’s activities.
As part of the plenary week, the work plan of the Eurasian Group for 2024-2025 was approved, and Japan received the group’s observer status. The event participants were also provided with information on the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan, China, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Uzbekistan delegation held bilateral meetings with representatives of foreign countries and international organizations, discussing further enhancing interdepartmental cooperation.
