The forum was attended by more than 100 participants, in particular, representatives of the city administration, heads of the state entrepreneurs’ associations, leading business structures and companies.

The event was organized to establish and strengthen the cooperation of the US business community with Eurasian countries. Mid-Atlantic – Eurasia Business Council annually organizes about 30 thematic events involving representatives of business communities of Eurasia and America. 

The head of Uzbekistan’s diplomatic mission to the United States J. Vakhabov addressed the event. He informed about the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at improving the business environment in the country, new trends that significantly improve the investment climate for foreign partners, as well as modern vectors of sustainable economic development towards strengthening the integration of the national economy into world markets.

Participants of the forum positively assessed the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan on liberalizing the society and ensuring human rights. They expressed interest in exploring the possibilities of investing in various sectors of the country’s economy.
