The Third International Festival of Cultures “Oriental Bazaar “Tyubeteyka” (skullcap) was held at the trade and exhibition center in Moscow.

The Third International Festival of Cultures “Oriental Bazaar “Tyubeteyka” (skullcap) was held at the trade and exhibition center in Moscow on February 13-16, uniting masters of folk art from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Russia, Tatarstan, Azerbaijan and Dagestan.

Compatriots from Uzbekistan, led by talented chef Hakim Ganiyev, prepared the largest serving of lagman in the world, weighing 797 kg.

It was recorded by the Interrecord International Records Agency and broke the previous one, when in 2015 a lagman of 687 kg was prepared in Almaty.

More than 15 Uzbekistan’s stands were organized at the festival, where artisans presented Bukhara carpets, Rishtan and Gijduvan ceramics, Uzbek jewelry, Chust knives, Margilan silk and many other handicrafts.

Last year, the festival was attended by about 4 thousand people, this year the number has reached up to 6 thousand.
