ISRS experts took part in the international conference “The cooperation of Central Asia in the new geopolitical environment: Challenges and opportunities”, in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
The event organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Kazakhstan, was attended by prominent experts and scientists from Central Asia.
ISRS Deputy Director Bobur Usmanov spoke in detail about the ongoing positive changes in the region.

According to the expert, fundamentally new mechanisms of interaction have been formed in Central Asia over the past five years. For example, the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of Central Asia are a vivid example of the transition of the countries of the region to a new level of political communication.
Bobur Usmanov also highlighted the emergence of new regional platforms, such as the Central Asian Economic Forum, the Central Asian Expert Forum, etc.
Following the conference, the participants expressed their interest in continuing the dialogue between the analytical structures of the region, aimed at developing joint approaches to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation in Central Asia.
