A delegation of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and experts from the Turkish Statistical Institute participated in a training course on “International trade and tourism statistics” at the Turkish Statistical Institute in cooperation with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency.

The opening and closing ceremonies were attended by the Turkish Statistical Institute employees led by Vice President of the Turkish Statistical Institute Abdullah Yüksel, the delegation of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan consisting of 10 people, as well as a TIKA expert Abdulkadir Abukan.

During the training course, Turkish Statistics experience in foreign trade statistics, foreign trade in services statistics, and inbound and outbound tourism statistics were studied.

Following the event, the training participants were awarded an advanced training certificate from the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency in International Trade and Tourism.
