Uzbekistan delegation attends AIIB Annual Meeting in Luxembourg
Uzbekistan delegation led by the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov attended the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank's (AIIB) Annual Meeting, in Luxembourg.
On July 12-13, 2019, Uzbekistan delegation led by the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov attended the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank's (AIIB) Annual Meeting, in Luxembourg.
The Bank, headquartered in Beijing, officially started its activities in 2016 and holds its first annual meeting outside of Asia.
The theme of the event is “Cooperation and Connectivity”.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Benelux countries, the event was attended by representatives of member states of the Board of Directors of the Bank, entrepreneurs, diplomats, representatives of public organizations, experts and scientists.
Uzbekistan delegation held bilateral meetings, including with representatives of the European Investment Bank.
