A delegation from the Ministry of Digital Technologies led by Minister Sherzod Shermatov is visiting Korea.

On the first day, the delegation took part in the opening ceremony of the 2024 UN Public Service Forum.

According to the ministry, the event was also attended by the Minister of the Interior and Safety of the Republic of Korea Lee Sang-min, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the U.S. Under Secretary for Science and Technology Dimitri Kusnezov, heads of departments of other countries for digitalization, and representatives of the diplomatic corps.

The participants were presented with a video message from the President of the Republic of Korea.

During negotiations with Minister Sherzod Shermatov, Mr. Ban Ki-moon recalled the meeting with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and highly appreciated the reforms in Uzbekistan.
