About 300 experts from Uzbekistan participated in the Travel and Tourism Trade Show “Arabian Travel Market” in Dubai, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reports.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UAE, Abdulaziz Akkulov, noted that this is one of the vital tourism exhibitions in 2023, and the participation of representatives from Uzbekistan is clear evidence of close cooperation in this area. He also noted that to expand the volume of air traffic between the two states, talks were held with various companies.

Consul General of Uzbekistan in Dubai and Northern Emirates Alisher Salomov focused on the fact that the “Arab Travel Market” is an essential platform for Uzbekistan. As the diplomat added, five years ago, only five flights a week were operated between the UAE and Uzbekistan. As a result of the intensive development of tourism, this figure now stands at 40 flights.
