Uzbekistan delegation led by the Minister of Health Abdukhakim Khadjibayev has arrived in South Korea.

The delegation is holding negotiations with South Korean partners to strengthen cooperation in the health sector, study the best practices of South Korea in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, as well as design and construction of specialized cancer hospitals and centers.

Uzbekistan delegation visited the Osong Medical Innovation Foundation, which is implementing the Osong Bio-Valley pharmaceutical cluster project. At the meeting with the leadership of the Foundation, views were exchanged on the establishment of interaction between the pharmaceutical clusters Tashkent Pharma Park and Osong Bio-Valley for the exchange of experience and technology transfer, conducting joint research, training highly qualified personnel, introducing modern management methods and the creation of industrial production, and further joint development.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on the earliest possible development of a cooperation agreement.
