Uzbekistan cyclists win prizes in the UAE and Kazakhstan
Uzbekistan national cycling team is taking part in the UAE and Kazakhstan tournaments.
The athletes passed 122 km on the first day of the UCI Women’s World Tour in Dubai, UAE. According to the first round’s results, Uzbekistan’s Yanina Kuskova, a member of the Tashkent City club, became the best in “The Best Young Cyclist” and “The Most Active Cyclist” nominations.
On the second day of the Track Cycling World Cup in Astana, Uzbekistan’s Samira Ismoilova won a bronze medal in the individual race among youth at a distance of 3 km. Anastasia Safonova took third place in the singles competitions.

At the moment, Uzbekistan’s athletes won 5 medals – 1 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze.
On February 9, cyclists will participate in the scratch, sprint, and group race.
