The Uzbekistan national team members are achieving high results in the ASEAN Track Series in Nilai, Malaysia.

Uzbekistan’s athletes ranked first in the omnium program.

Sergey Rostovtsev, the gold medalist of the previous competitions, beat all rivals in the scratch and elimination programs and became first. Thanks to this result, Rostovtsev won three gold medals.

Recall that this tournament not only awards Uzbekistan athletes international ranking points but also advances them to the Track Cycling World Cup in Perth, Australia, in March this year. 

The Uzbekistan national team members, who won 3 gold and 1 bronze medals at the first stage of the international tournament, which will run until January 11, will participate in the second stage starting tomorrow.
