The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Beibut Atamkulov.

It was noted that, at the initiative of the leaders of the two countries, in recent years, along with other areas, cooperation has been developing in culture.

Participation in international cultural events in the two countries is expanding, and the annual holding of mutual cultural days has become a good tradition.

The Minister of Culture Mr. Nazarbekov congratulated Ambassador Beibut Atamkulov on the victory of the Kazakh dance ensemble “Kazyna” in the category “Best Solo Performer” at the Second International Dance Festival “Lazgi” in Khiva.

Views were exchanged regarding the organization and conduction at a high level of planned events within the framework of the Uzbekistan Culture Days in Kazakhstan.
