A meeting was held between the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov and U.S. Special Envoy for Global Partnerships Paolo Zampolli.

During the dialogue, the current state and prospects of cultural cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

It was noted that the organization of Uzbekistan Culture Days in Washington, D.C., on September 10-14 of this year will contribute to the development of the bilateral partnership.

The parties also considered joint projects in education, cinema, and the creative economy.

The U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick also took part in the meeting.
