The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the British Embassy in Uzbekistan is working on creation of the Unified Information Portal “Advice.uz”.

It is designed to provide citizens with free advice on various issues of entrepreneurship, social and legal protection.

For successful launch of this project, a working visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan to London was organized. The delegation members studied the best British practice of providing advice to the population, met with representatives of organizations and agencies included in the Citizens Advice network. This network has been operating since 1939 and united 316 independent charities throughout the United Kingdom. It currently provides free information and advice via telephone, electronic and Internet communications, through Webchat and public website Citizens Advice. Its analogue is planned to be launched in Uzbekistan.

Specialists of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan acquainted their British colleagues with “Advice.uz” project.

In turn, representatives of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureau thanked the Uzbek side for appreciating their activities and promised to assist in implementation of the Advice.uz project by providing information and expert support.

Participation of the British side in development of “Advice.uz” portal was also discussed. The corresponding document is planned to be signed during the next visit of Uzbekistan delegation to London.
