Cultural and educational events dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Constitution were held at the historic and prestigious Istanbul University and at the Ali Amiri Cultural Center in Istanbul’s Fatih district.
The events were organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul in cooperation with the public foundation Vatandoshlar, the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Compatriots Abroad, the World Youth Association, and the society “Culture, Solidarity and Cooperation of Uzbekistan”.
The festive gatherings were attended by representatives of the Uzbek diaspora in Istanbul, Uzbekistan students studying in Türkiye, and members of the local community.
Diplomats congratulated Uzbekistan’s citizens on Constitution Day, highlighting the historical, legal, and spiritual significance of this date in the country’s life, including its role as the foundation for ongoing political, social, and economic reforms.
A festive table featuring dishes of Uzbek national cuisine was prepared for the participants.
The event played an important role in further uniting the diaspora in Istanbul, widely promoting national culture and raising awareness of the reforms being carried out across all spheres of the country’s life.
