According to information from Uzbekistan’s Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the switchover to digital television in this country is 100 per cent complete.

In accordance with a resolution dated 17 July 2017 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures for the switchover to digital television and the stoppage of the terrestrial analogue television transmission”, on the basis of a worked-out schedule, the terrestrial analogue television transmission will be stopped in all the regions of the country by 5 December 2018.
