The delegation of Uzbekistan participating in the 80th-anniversary session of the UN General Assembly in New York includes the leadership of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation.
As part of the visit, the Executive Director of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, Gulnoza Ismailova, met with the Chairman of the UN International Civil Service Commission (ICSC), Larbi Djacta.
The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation between the Commission, the Foundation, and the Agency for Public Administration Efficiency.

An agreement was reached to implement joint initiatives, including training programs for civil servants within the UN system in the fields of public administration, civil service, and scientific research.
Following the meeting, a Cooperation Agreement was signed, becoming the first official document in the history of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation aimed at strengthening ties with a UN system body.
According to the document, the parties will develop and implement joint programs for the training and professional development of civil servants and the Foundation’s scholarship holders. There will also be an exchange of experience in the field of scientific research and technological development.
Plans include holding conferences, seminars, practical training sessions, and other events. The ICSC will provide expert and technical support in the areas of digital governance, human resource management, and civil service.
