The parties agreed to use the available opportunities for the effective implementation of the Cooperation Agreement in science and technology.

Within the framework of agreements with the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC, on September 17, 2019, a competition for the best innovative project was announced. In accordance with the terms of the competition, the 20 best projects approved by the Uzbek and Chinese sides will be financed for 20 billion UZS.

Cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in IT parks is also expanding. Work is underway to implement an investment project for creating Uzbekistan – China medical technopark working on the synthesis of drugs in Navoi region.
