Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai held meetings with the leadership of China’s leading transport companies.

Talks were held with representatives of China Railway Container Transport Corp., Ltd. Shanghai Branch and Sinotrans Landbridge Transportation Co., Ltd.

It was noted that Uzbekistan is considered by Chinese manufacturers as one of the leading partners in Central Asia in terms of exporting products from China.

8200 cargo containers were sent to Uzbekistan in 2021 from the Lianyungang railway hub (Jiangsu Province), which is one of the main centers of departure of goods from China, South Korea and Japan to Uzbekistan, through the Sinotrans Landbridge Transportation Co. Ltd. Since the beginning of this year, the volume of containers sent to Uzbekistan has reached 240.
